Meditation has gone from being associated with mung beans, tie die skirts and hippies to being something everyone is doing from celebs to kids. If you are into personal and spiritual development you will be hearing it everywhere you turn.

Meditation is something everyone can benefit from, it is easy to do and does not cost a penny! That sounds pretty easy right? Well, it does but most people I speak to seem to find meditation really hard to master, I did too so I did lots of courses, found out what I needed to do differently, then qualified as a meditation teacher so I could help people like you who just can’t seem to do it.

You are probably doing more right than you realise, the problem I find is that people have expectations way beyond the reality, that they are often using the wrong meditation for the wrong purpose, it’s like trying to use a fork to eat soup!

My one day workshop is designed to give you all the building blocks and then to show you how to build a strong, durable structure that is fit for purpose with those building blocks.

We will look at the seven types of meditations, you are guaranteed to find one that suits you if not more.

Meditation Positions

Meditation can be done in many different poses, it is not just about sitting in crossed leg, Lotus Position chanting Om! We will look at about 8 different poses, whatever your mobility, there is a pose that will be comfortable for you.

The workshop is heavily practical so we will work our way through all the different types of meditation to give you the experience as well as the information around meditation.

Why Are You Meditating & What Are You Wanting To Achieve?

Each meditation has a purpose, we will spend time looking at what your intentions are with meditation, are you looking to reduce stress, expand your spiritual connection, be more creative or something else? Don’t worry if you don’t have an intention right now, during the workshop we will look at which type of meditation is right for a particular purpose.

We will cover a range of different styles of meditation, this is a practical based workshop with handouts so expect to spend the day trying all the different meditation methods, finding what suits you depending on your different needs.

No experience is necessary as we will cover all aspects of meditation.

We will also discuss how to work on your future meditation practice.

Course Info

The course will run from 10am to 4pm, please arrive by 9.45am for tea and coffee and to register. We will start promptly at 10am.

Course investment: £50

The venue is Covid compliant, in the event of it being cancelled due to Covid an alternative date will be given or a full refund.
