“Tune into your spirit guides for the knowledge of the hidden, by Russell Eric Dobda”   There was a time in my life when I had a fear of connecting to intuition and the magical world of spirituality. I thought of it as some Pandora’s box that was better left sealed. After all, if we were meant to talk to spirits, then it should be so easy that everyone would be doing it, and we’d have all of the answers. Getting in tune with the physical-formless beings that dedicate their consciousness to helping us through this often-challenging life on the physical plane is often labeled as ‘occultism,’ a word with a negative connotation of the word ‘cult.’ However, occultism simply means ‘knowledge of the hidden.’ In this modern-day world of physical science, we often prefer to stick to ‘knowledge of the measurable’ through intellectual reasoning rather than intuitive knowledge, which we often can’t explain in words. However, when the day came that I was ready to dive in, it wasn’t long before people began to enter my life and introduce me to this ‘hidden knowledge’ that was with me all along. I got an Akashic records reading from a clairaudient woman who told me more about myself than I even knew. It felt like a deep therapy session, and I walked away not only feeling lighter, but also a bit more knowledgeable about what had gotten me to where I was, and also the path ahead of me. To do it, she spoke with my spirit guides. I realized that that little voice inside of me had value when it told me I had a deeper purpose than my 9 to 5 job or my material possessions that were often used to define me in the Western world.

Soon, I invented my own poem to open my Akashic records, and I use it every time I meet with a trusted spiritual adviser, or look within myself for that bit of hidden knowledge: I call the spirits from above to help me see the light, and touch and feel the breadth of flow to open the infinite.

This poem helped me through many an experience and unveiled knowledge that was not often anything new, but rather transparent confirmation of things I thought I already knew, but perhaps suppressed because they weren’t confirmed through my intellect of ‘measurable knowledge.’ Now, these things suddenly became ‘measurable’ and my intuition had meaning.
Eventually, I got into the field of guided meditation with spoken word and sound healing technologies such as binaural beats. I had a music background and had been playing in bands for years, but I could finally use my talents and affinities towards sound to help others directly through focused intention and meditation.

The first meditation I ever wrote was a guided visualization through the forest to meet my spirit guide. I’ve taken that journey many times since then. My guides in the little cabin in the middle of the forest in my mind have shared with me much ‘hidden knowledge’ over the years to confirm my intuition, and sometimes alert me to question my own perceived ‘common sense’ decisions that were actually not so sensible after I took the time to set aside all of the noise of my daily life through meditation.

I shared it with the world in my first album from Guided Meditation Treks. Recently, I have converted this mp3 album to a new app for iOS, Guided Meditation Treks, Volume 1. It consists of four meditations of spoken word, binaural beats, isochronic tones, pink noise, and nature sounds that helped me connect to my higher self, as well as my spirit guides. The app is different than the CDs in that it allows volume control of each sound element as you take treks to “Meet Your Spirit Guide,” “Reprogram a Counterproductive Thought Pattern,” “Heal a Relationship,” and “Manifestation.” Every meditation has binaural beats and isochronic tones pre-programmed into them, and each frequency was selected with a specific purpose in mind, so I could and relax while I connected to the ‘hidden knowledge.’

I also released another tool for iOS, called Binaural, which allows users to generate various healing frequencies and create combinations of binaural beats and isochronic pulses for any intention, and of your their creation. The app refers to a library of different frequencies that have been shown to create different effects, and it allows users to directly enter the frequencies into the tool to see how they work for you. There’s no guesswork in what’s going into it, and no hidden or unknown effects of what goes into the tones because YOU are the creator. You have the ability to set your own intention, then plug in frequencies that have been shown through the exploration of others to produce desired effects. I hope that these tools I have created can help you unlock the ‘knowledge of the hidden.’
